Meetings is a video conferencing tool that allows you to host meetings online with multiple users. Teachers will be able to plan a meeting in advance
or start immediately, and when it’s time for the meeting, you can present and collaborate with
other users (teachers or students) as if they were in the same space.
Cisco Webex is a multi-device tool, allowing connection through PC, Mac or mobile devices.

The people who attend the meeting will have different roles that will be specified below:

1. ORGANIZER: person who plans or creates the meeting, invites the participants and
controls the general administration of the meeting. From the meeting window manage all
aspects of it and allows those who participate to use the chat, send video, share
information and interact with each other through documents, presentations and whiteboards.

2. PRESENTER: person who shares the content and shows it to the rest of the participants.
This role is initially held by the organizing person and then they can assign this role to another
participant person and make them a presenter. It is easily recognized, because together
the participant icon displays the WebEx icon.

3. PARTICIPANTS: People participating in the meeting who cannot share content, or
manage all aspects of it.

Sharing content.
1. Screen. It allows to share the screen of our computer.
2. Share File. Allows you to share a file from your computer or from the
space offered by Webex.
3. New Blackboard. Allows sharing whiteboards for annotations of all people
participants.
4. Other Applications. Allows you to share the applications installed on the computer
5. iPhone or iPad screen. Allows you to share the iPhone or iPad screen

Manage the permissions of the participants.
The organizer of the videoconference, from the “Participant” menu, will be able to manage
different options:

1. Mute the mics. You can mute everyone at once, or a specific person.
2. Kick out of the meeting. Kick someone out of the meeting.
3. Anyone can share. This option is enabled by default and allows any participant to display their content. It is important to disable it, so that the organizer person manage at all times who shares your content
4. Assign privileges. Among all the available options, it is recommended to disable the
private chat communication between participant

Block Meetings.
Within more options we highlight the option “Block meeting”, since it will allow the
organizing person can block access to the room of new people participating
